MixWork vs Multiplier
The short answer
Multiplier competes on published entry price and breadth. We compete on Indonesian depth and an operations layer included as standard.
BETTER FIT
Choose Multiplier if
Entry price is the deciding factor and you accept a sales call to get an Indonesian figure.
You are hiring across several markets, not just Indonesia.
You need engagement models beyond permanent employment.
A self-serve platform matters more than people on the ground.
BETTER FIT
Choose MixWork if
Indonesia specifically is the market that matters to you.
You want published Indonesian terms you can compare before a sales call.
You want devices held in-region at a published price, not a delivery promise for “Asia”.
You want a named HR manager, engagement, dispute resolution and performance oversight as standard.
MixWork vs Multiplier for Hiring in Indonesia (2026)
By the MixWork Team · Last updated 9 August 2026
Multiplier publishes EOR from USD 459 per employee per month billed annually, or USD 499 billed monthly (accessed 7 September 2026), and publishes no Indonesia-specific rate. Its pricing has moved more than once in recent months, so ask any provider for a written figure rather than relying on a published one, ours included.
MixWork is Indonesia-focused, with our own team and office in Jakarta, and bundles HR management and device support into a flat fee. Choose Multiplier for low-cost multi-market hiring; choose MixWork when Indonesia is the market that matters.

How does Multiplier's device service compare with MixWork's?
Multiplier's IT Assets product covers procurement, delivery, returns and deployment across 130+ countries. Its seven-business-day delivery promise names “Asia” in a blog post rather than a product page, its laptop feature is scoped to “more than 55 countries” without a published list, Indonesia is not named in either, and no equipment price or service-level commitment is published (accessed 7 September 2026).
MixWork Managed IT holds devices in Singapore and Jakarta, images them in-house and publishes its terms: from USD 99 per device per month, a three-month minimum and no deposit.
Where Multiplier is the stronger choice
Published tier pricing. EOR published from USD 459 per employee per month billed annually sits below Deel and G-P at USD 599 and Remote at USD 699.
Dedicated managers at the base tier. Not gated behind an enterprise plan, which is not true of every competitor.
Commercial flexibility. Multiplier publishes “Start today, cancel anytime. No credit card required. No hidden fees.”
Broader engagement models and reach. Multiplier supports engagement types we deliberately do not offer, and covers many more countries.
Where MixWork is different, and why it matters
1. Published Indonesian terms you can actually compare
We publish a device price, a minimum term and a fault-response commitment. As at 9 August 2026, Multiplier publishes global pricing tiers but no Indonesia-specific rate, and no equipment price or service-level commitment. That does not mean the service is worse. It means you cannot compare total cost without a sales call.
2. Devices held in this region
We hold laptops in Singapore and Jakarta and image them ourselves, so handover is local. Multiplier’s published delivery promise refers to “Asia” and its laptop feature is described as covering “more than 55 countries” without naming Indonesia. Our terms are on the MixWork Managed IT page: from USD 99 per device / month, no deposit, accidental damage covered, loaner while repairs happen.
3. An operations layer, not just employment
A named HR manager in Indonesia, employee engagement and dispute resolution, performance feedback and attendance monitoring, monthly employee and client check-in calls and our own Jakarta office are included in how we deliver. None of these appear in Multiplier’s published product range. That is the substance of Total Care 360, and it is the reason clients come to us after a platform has handled the paperwork but not the people.
4. We only do compliant permanent employment
We engage people as full-time permanent employees on compliant Indonesian contracts, and nothing else. That is a narrower offering than Multiplier’s, deliberately: it is the structure that carries the least misclassification exposure for anyone working as part of your team.
5. One region, and systems built for it
Multiplier is Singapore-founded and genuinely more Asia-aware than most global platforms, but its product still spans a worldwide footprint, and that shapes what gets built. South East Asia is the only region we work in. Our internal procedures, our compliance monitoring, our AI-assisted workflows, and our own management dashboard and employee app were designed around how employment actually works in this region rather than configured as one more market inside a global product.
If you want an Asia-first platform with published tiers across many countries, Multiplier is a fair choice. If your team is in Indonesia and you want the people found, employed and actively managed here, that is what we are built for.
How we compare, and how these claims are substantiated
This page compares published commercial terms, not service quality. Every figure attributed to Multiplier was read directly from Multiplier’s own published pages on 1 August 2026, with all pricing re-verified on 7 September 2026, and each source is listed at the end of this page. We hold copies of those pages as they appeared on that date. Our full comparison methodology and disclaimers sets out the standards we apply.
We compare like with like. Where the two offerings are not directly comparable, we say so rather than implying an advantage.
“Not published” means exactly that. Where we note that Multiplier does not publish something, we mean it was not on Multiplier’s public pages on 1 August 2026. It is not a statement that Multiplier cannot or does not provide it.
We make no claim about Multiplier’s service quality. We have not used customer complaints or negative review commentary to argue our case.
We name where Multiplier is stronger. A comparison that finds no merit in the alternative is not a fair comparison, and would not help you decide.
Figures go out of date. Third-party pricing and terms change without notice and we do not monitor them continuously. Verify current terms against Multiplier’s own pages before you contract.
Spotted something inaccurate or out of date? Email support@mixwork.co with the statement and a link to the correct source, and we will verify and correct or remove it promptly. That invitation applies to competitors as much as customers.
Frequently asked questions
Does Multiplier publish a price for Indonesia?
Not as at 7 September 2026. Multiplier publishes EOR from USD 459 per employee per month billed annually, or USD 499 billed monthly, while its Indonesia employer of record page publishes no Indonesia-specific rate. Multiplier also notes that around 11% of supported countries carry adjusted pricing it does not enumerate, and every tier card adds compliance-mandated add-ons and an implementation fee without quantifying either. Treat USD 459 as a global starting point rather than an Indonesian quote, and ask for a written figure.
How does Multiplier’s device service compare with MixWork’s?
Multiplier states a seven-business-day delivery promise for “Asia” in a blog post, and that its laptop feature covers more than 55 countries; Indonesia is not named in either statement, and no equipment price or service-level commitment is published. MixWork holds devices in Singapore and Jakarta, images them in-house and publishes its terms: from USD 99 per device / month, a three-month minimum, no deposit, accidental damage covered and a loaner while anything is repaired.
What support hours does each provider commit to?
Multiplier’s pricing page states 24x7 dedicated customer support (accessed 7 September 2026). Neither provider publishes a response-time SLA for EOR. MixWork assigns a named HR manager based in Indonesia who works your team’s hours and joins a scheduled monthly check-in.
Does MixWork offer contractor management or contractor-of-record?
No. We engage people only as full-time, permanent employees on compliant Indonesian employment contracts. If you need contractor or freelancer management, Multiplier offers that and we do not. Our position is that for anyone who works like a member of your team, employment is the lower-risk structure in Indonesia, because misclassification is assessed on the substance of the working relationship rather than the wording of the agreement.
When is Multiplier the better choice?
If you are hiring across several markets on a tight budget and want published tier pricing with dedicated managers included at the base tier, Multiplier is a reasonable choice and we would say so. MixWork is stronger when Indonesia specifically is your main market and you want the team managed on the ground.
