Comparison Methodology
The standard we hold ourselves to
We are a Singapore company and we write our comparative content to the principles of the Singapore Code of Advertising Practice: legal, decent, honest and truthful, capable of substantiation, and fair to the competitor named.
01
Substantiation before publication
We hold the evidence for every comparative claim before it goes live, not after somebody asks for it.
02
Primary sources only
Figures come from the provider’s own published pages, never from affiliate directories or comparison sites.
03
Like-for-like comparison
We compare comparable things, and where two offerings are not directly comparable we say so instead of implying an advantage.
04
No denigration
We do not use customer complaints, negative reviews or characterisations of service quality to make our case.
05
We name where the competitor is stronger
Every comparison page says where the other provider is the better choice, because a comparison that finds no merit in the alternative will not help you decide.
How We Compare Providers, and How We Substantiate It
By the MixWork Team · Last updated 1 August 2026
We publish comparisons that name our competitors. That places an obligation on us to be accurate, fair and checkable, so this page sets out exactly how we do it, what we will not claim, and how to get something corrected. It applies to every comparison, alternatives and provider-ranking page on this site.
How we source and record figures
We read the provider’s own pricing pages, country pages, product pages, help-centre articles and blog posts.
We record the date each page was read, and keep a copy of the page as it appeared on that date.
We list the exact source URLs on the comparison page itself, so you can check any figure without taking our word for it.
We exclude any figure we cannot verify from a primary source, even when it would favour us — which is why our provider lists are shorter than most.
We do not treat comparison sites, affiliate directories or lead-generation sites as sources. Their figures frequently contradict the providers’ own published pages.
What “not published” means
Where we say a provider does not publish something — a price, a service-level commitment, a delivery timeline — we mean that the information was not available on their public pages on the date stated. It is not a claim that the provider lacks the capability, and it should not be read as one. Providers routinely offer things they do not publish, and many disclose commercial terms only on a sales call or under an NDA. If publication status has changed, tell us and we will update it.
Currency: figures go out of date
This is the most important caveat on the site. Third-party pricing, deposit terms, service levels and product scope change without notice, and we do not monitor competitors continuously. Accordingly:
Every comparative figure we publish carries the date it was verified.
A verification date is a statement about that date, not a warranty of current accuracy.
We re-verify comparison pages periodically, but we give no undertaking to do so continuously or on any fixed schedule.
You should confirm current terms directly with any provider, in writing, before you contract. Do not make a purchasing decision in reliance on this site alone.
Indonesian statutory figures — contribution rates, salary caps, minimum wages, allowances — are set by regulation, revised periodically, and stated as at the dates given in the relevant guide.
Corrections and right of reply
If you believe anything we have published about another provider is inaccurate, out of date or unfair — whether you are a customer, a competitor, or that provider — email support@mixwork.co with the page, the specific statement and a link to the correct source. We will verify it and correct or remove the statement promptly, and update the verification date to reflect the change. We would rather be accurate than right, and we would rather hear from you than from your lawyer.
Our own figures
Our prices are indicative starting points, not quotations. Final pricing depends on role mix, headcount, device configuration and term, and is confirmed in a written quotation.
Employer statutory contributions are additional to our fees. They are set by Indonesian regulation, not by us, and they change.
Our employer of record engagements require a security deposit of one to two months depending on the engagement. MixWork Managed IT requires no deposit and no upfront payment.
Device specifications may be substituted for equivalent or better hardware subject to availability.
Service commitments described on this site are summarised for clarity. The signed agreement governs in full, and prevails over any summary here.
We engage people only as full-time, permanent employees on compliant Indonesian employment contracts. We do not provide contractor, freelancer or contractor-of-record services.
Trademarks and non-affiliation
All third-party names, marks and logos referred to on this site are the property of their respective owners. MixWork is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to any provider we compare ourselves to. Those names are used solely for identification and fair comparison, as permitted for honest comparative advertising.
Not advice, and no reliance
Everything on this site is provided for general information. It is not legal, tax, accounting or employment advice, and no lawyer-client or adviser-client relationship arises from reading it. Indonesian employment law is specific, changes, and turns on the facts of each arrangement — employment documents, termination processes and statutory calculations should be reviewed by qualified Indonesian labour counsel before you act. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for decisions taken in reliance on this site rather than on professional advice and your own verification.
Frequently asked questions
How does MixWork source the figures used in its comparisons?
Only from each provider’s own published pages — their pricing pages, country pages, product pages, help centres and blogs. We record the date we read each page, keep a copy of it as it appeared, and list the exact URLs on the comparison page itself. We deliberately do not use comparison sites, affiliate directories or lead-generation sites as sources, because their figures frequently contradict the providers’ own published pages.
What does “not published” mean on your comparison pages?
It means the information was not available on that provider’s public pages on the date we checked. It is not a statement that the provider cannot, does not, or will not provide the thing described. Providers regularly offer capabilities they do not publish, and many disclose commercial terms only under NDA or on a sales call.
What if a figure on a comparison page is out of date?
It may well be. Third-party pricing and terms change without notice, and we do not monitor competitors continuously. Every figure we publish carries the date it was verified, and you should always confirm current terms against the provider’s own pages before you contract. If you find something stale, tell us and we will fix it.
I work for a provider named on your site and a figure is wrong. What now?
Email support@mixwork.co with the page, the figure and a link to the correct source. We will verify it and correct or remove the statement promptly, and update the verification date. We would rather be accurate than right.
Do your comparisons rate service quality?
No. We compare published commercial terms — fees, deposits, minimum terms, what is included, how devices are supplied and what commitments are published. We do not rate or rank service quality, and we do not use customer complaints or negative review commentary to argue our case.
Is MixWork’s own pricing on these pages a quotation?
No. Our figures are indicative starting points. Final pricing depends on role mix, headcount, configuration and term, and is confirmed in a written quotation. Employer statutory contributions in Indonesia are additional to our fees and are set by regulation rather than by us.
