Indonesia EOR pricing index: published employer of record fees compared and verified monthly

EOR Pricing Index

Six things to read before you compare any two fees

A headline fee is a floor with conditions attached. These are the conditions we check on every row, every month.

01

Flat fee or percentage

Seven providers charge a flat monthly fee; Emerhub charges 10% of the total cost to employ with a USD 49.99 floor and a USD 250 ceiling, which undercuts every flat fee below roughly USD 2,100 of monthly employment cost.

02

Indonesia rate or global entry price

A global ‘from’ price is the lowest rate in that provider’s book, not necessarily Indonesia’s. Where the provider publishes no Indonesian figure, the table says so.

03

Add-ons printed beside the price

Some tier cards carry ‘compliance mandated add-ons’ or ‘implementation fee as applicable’ without a number. We quote the words, not a guess at the figure.

04

Deposit basis

A deposit calculated on total monthly charges (salary plus statutory plus fee) is several times one calculated on the fee. Ask which, and whether it rises for transferred employees.

05

What the fee includes

Managed HR, workspace, devices and recruitment are separately priced modules on most platforms. MixWork’s USD 249 includes Total Care 360; its workspaces, devices and recruitment are priced separately on its rate card.

06

Verification date

Every figure carries the date it was read. Figures older than a month on any comparison page, including this one, should be checked against the provider’s page before you contract.

Indonesia EOR Pricing Index: Every Published Employer-of-Record Fee for Indonesia, Verified Monthly

By the MixWork Team · Prices verified 12 September 2026 · Re-verified monthly

Key takeaways

• Published EOR fees for Indonesia run from USD 49.99 (Emerhub’s floor on a 10% model, capped at USD 250) to USD 699 (Remote), verified against each provider’s own pages on 12 September 2026.

• Only three of the eight providers publish an Indonesia-specific rate or page with a price: Emerhub, Remote and MixWork. The others publish a global entry price that may not be the Indonesian rate.

• Two providers print unquantified extras beside the headline: Multiplier’s tiers carry compliance-mandated add-ons and an implementation fee as applicable; Glints TalentHub’s rate varies by country. Treat every headline as a floor.

• Deposit terms are published by three providers: Deel at 1 to 1.5 times all monthly charges, MixWork at one to two months, and Remote at none. The rest publish nothing either way.

• MixWork is a provider on this index and is not the cheapest. We publish it because nobody else re-verifies these figures monthly, and the change log shows why that matters: Multiplier’s figure has moved three times in six months.

Sorted by headline fee, lowest first; this is an index, not a ranking. Every figure was read from the linked page on 12 September 2026; deposit terms from each provider's published terms as at 7 September 2026. SGD converted at the early-September 2026 rate for orientation only. Employer statutory costs (roughly 11% of gross salary in BPJS contributions plus one month of THR a year) are additional with every provider. "Not published" means not on the provider's public pages on the access date.

This index lists every employer-of-record fee for Indonesia that a provider publishes on its own pages, as it stood on 12 September 2026, with the basis of the fee, whether an Indonesia-specific figure exists, the published deposit terms, and a link to the source. It is re-read monthly and every change is logged below. MixWork is one of the eight providers listed and is not the cheapest; the disclosure section explains how we handle that conflict of interest.

How to read the index

The fee column is the provider’s published entry price per employee per month, in the currency the provider publishes. Where a provider publishes a percentage model, the row shows the percentage, the floor and the ceiling. The Indonesia column says whether the figure comes from an Indonesia-specific page or is the provider’s global entry price; a global figure is the lowest rate in that provider’s book and may not be the Indonesian rate. The deposit column reports only what the provider publishes; not published means it was not on the provider’s public pages on the access date, not that no deposit is taken. The employer’s statutory costs, roughly 11% of gross salary in BPJS contributions plus one month of THR a year, sit on top of every fee in the table and are set by regulation, not by the provider.

What changed, and why a monthly index exists

Third-party EOR pricing for Indonesia is unstable in ways a one-off comparison cannot show. In the six months to September 2026 one provider’s published rate moved from USD 400 to USD 459 billed annually and USD 499 monthly while its search advertising briefly quoted USD 275, a figure that never appeared on its pricing page. Another provider rebranded, so a name that appears in older comparisons no longer exists. A third’s Indonesia-specific EOR page went offline, leaving only its global pricing page. Several widely shared listicles still carry the superseded figures. The change log at the foot of this page records each movement with the date it was verified, so that a figure quoted from this index can be traced to the month it was true.

Excluded from the index, and why

We list providers that publish a per-employee EOR fee that a buyer can compare, and we exclude figures that are published as a floor with no stated basis for what moves a hire above it. Where a provider’s published entry price for one country is a fraction of its published price for a comparable country on the same page, with nothing explaining the spread, we have left the provider out rather than present the floor as a comparable rate. Providers with no published EOR price at all, and providers whose published rate is not offered for Indonesia, are also excluded. Being excluded is an editorial judgement about comparability, not a statement that the provider does not publish a price.

Where MixWork sits, and the conflict of interest

MixWork’s published fee is USD 249 per employee per month, flat, with an Indonesia-specific rate card. On headline fee alone we are undercut by Emerhub for almost any hire and by Remote People’s USD 199 global entry price. We publish this index anyway, because a buyer comparing Indonesian EOR fees deserves a table that is re-verified monthly, and because the argument we make elsewhere is about what the fee includes, not the fee itself: Total Care 360, a managed HR layer with a named HR manager, monthly employee and client check-in calls, engagement and performance monitoring, sits inside our USD 249 rather than being metered as a module. Our workspaces, devices and recruitment are priced separately and listed on our rate card. Our ranked view of the same providers, with where each one beats us, is the best EOR companies in Indonesia page; this index is deliberately unranked.

How we compare, and how these figures are substantiated

Every third-party figure was read directly from that provider’s own published pages on the access date stated against it, and we hold copies of those pages as they appeared. We compare published commercial terms, not service quality, and we have not used customer complaints, review-site ratings or negative commentary about any provider. Not published means exactly that: it was not on the provider’s public pages on the access date. Where two offerings are not directly comparable, the table says so rather than implying an advantage. Our full comparison methodology and disclaimers sets out the standards. Spotted an inaccuracy or an out-of-date figure? Email support@mixwork.co with the statement and a link to the correct source and we will verify, then correct or remove it promptly; that invitation applies to the providers listed as much as to buyers, and we have acted on it before.

Trademark and non-affiliation notice

All third-party names and marks are the property of their respective owners. MixWork is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of any provider listed. Remote People and Remote are separate and unrelated companies despite the similarity of their names. Provider pricing and terms change without notice; verify against the provider’s own pages before contracting. Nothing on this page is legal or tax advice; Indonesian employment documents and severance exposure should be reviewed by qualified Indonesian labour counsel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Published fees run from USD 49.99 to USD 699 per employee per month (verified 12 September 2026): Emerhub at 10% of employment cost with a USD 49.99 floor and USD 250 ceiling, Remote People from USD 199, MixWork USD 249, Glints TalentHub from SGD 399, Multiplier from USD 459 billed annually or USD 499 monthly, Deel and G-P from USD 599, and Remote at USD 699. Statutory employer costs of roughly 11% of salary plus THR sit on top.
Three of the eight on this index: Emerhub (Indonesia page with a percentage model), Remote (USD 699 on its Indonesia page) and MixWork (USD 249 on its rate card). Deel, G-P, Multiplier, Remote People and Glints TalentHub publish global entry prices; Glints states that the final rate varies by country.
Not necessarily. Statutory costs are identical whoever employs the person, so the fee difference is real, but managed HR, workspace, devices and recruitment are separately priced on most platforms and unpublished add-ons or implementation fees can sit beside a headline. Compare what the fee includes and the deposit basis, then the number.
Monthly. Each figure carries the date it was read from the provider's page, and every change between readings is recorded in the change log with the old and new figures. A figure older than a month on any comparison page should be checked against the provider before you contract.
Because we are an EOR provider for Indonesia and leaving ourselves out would be less honest than disclosing the conflict. We are not the cheapest on the table, we say so, and the ranked version with where each competitor beats us is on our best EOR companies in Indonesia page.
